The history of the Hotel Miravalle in Selva, South Tyrol
The building of the present Hotel Miravalle was built between 1950 and 1952 as a small guesthouse and holiday center in the middle of the beautiful mountain resort Selva in Val Gardena / South Tyrol. Surrounded by impressive mountains and green meadows, in winter the guesthouse was reachable only by sledge and in summer only on foot.
The Family Novelli bought the guesthouse in the centre of Selva about 10 years later, in 1962, and turned it into a three star hotel surrounded by the breathtaking Dolomites in Val Gardena. In the course of the years the Hotel has undergone several extensions and renovations. Moreover, an infrastructure has been built to allow access by car right in front of the Hotel, located in the center of Selva in Val Gardena. Thus, the Hotel Miravalle has become a renowned holiday home for all those who love the Dolomites of South Tyrol.
In 2004, there has been made a general renovation of the building, in order to meet our guest's requirements and desires. In this occasion, the owning family Novelli has attributed great importance to the enlargement of the wellness center "Essentia-Spa", which has been designed with much commitment in order to create a hotel with a South Tyrolean flair situated in the heart of the Dolomites. The new bedrooms and suites are very spacious as well as comfortably and individually furnished. The restaurants are furnished in a typical South Tyrolean style, in order to underline the tasty creations of our excellent cuisine.
